True Colors always come out

I have been the victim of public message board bashing in the last few days. I was with a direct sales company that closed and decided to start my own online mineral makeup shop. Apparently that's a crime for me. I have been called a scammer, a liar among other things and I truly can't figure out why. I haven't done anything to these people personally but they all feel that it's necessary to jump all over me.

So I have learned that you can't really trust people who claim to be your friends because in a minute they will stab you in the back. I do have some friends that stuck up for me that I didn't really expect to so that was nice and then of course my true friends did so as well.

I want to say to all the drama mamas out there, get a life and focus all that energy on your business rather than always trying to bring someone else down. Hey if it keeps up maybe I can hire you as my publicity agent since you are giving me and my site so much exposure right now. Just a thought.

It's the weekend BABY!

Yay! Ok so I really don't have any big plans lol but it's still nice to be Friday! Really need the weekend to take my mind off the last few day events, but I am not going to dwell on it. It will be a learning experience and I will take that with me. Kids are both rambunctious today, not sure what it is...cabin fever maybe. I am very thankful bedtime is in an hour, so I can finally have some peace and quiet.

I am hoping that since I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow they have restocked milk and bread and eggs from our winter weather advisory a few days ago. Yes people really do go and buy that stuff for snow, tornadoes and hurricanes. One day just one day maybe they will buy batteries and water instead. This is a whole other rant though and I will just say this to shall pass.

Just random thoughts today....

Much Ado about.....snow?

Well yes it did snow last night started around 11:40 or so. I peeked outside before snuggling down in bed for the night and lo and behold I saw FLURRIES! Who would have thought the weatherman was right??

I guess they knew it wouldn't be too bad, they didn't do continuous coverage on air, they scrolled at the bottom of the screen with school closings/delays and broke in on the hour/half hours with updates.

As the night went on many places and businesses were delaying opening by 1 to 2 hours, which is OK not terrible. Lucky for me my daughter went to school on time, there was no delays for her city school.

It wasn't that bad out, the temp never dropped low enough on the roads for anything to stick, soooo off to school and work everyone went, except those who wanted an excuse not to work. So yes it did snow, maybe a half inch here where I live. I took some pics I will upload later and add to this. So you know I wasn't lying about seeing snow and it being in the South and all.

So off to enjoy this rainy day.
