Every once in a while my kids will say something funny, so I thought I would share a couple. 

Not so long ago, if you'll remember Jessica asked me if Alabama was a state when I was little.  Yep that made me feel real good and gave me quite a chuckle.

Last night we had soft tacos for dinner, hubby dropped the last shell on the floor and as he picked it up and shook it off, we were like ummm..  So then Jess says, they are called FLOUR tortillas daddy, not Floor tortillas.  Good one Jess, Good one. 

And eww he was about to eat it! :$

Then he proceeds to tell me how he's always telling Jess that she can't date etc until she's in her 30's or 40's and her retort was, I want to be able to walk down the aisle, not roll.  Um whoa! When did 30 and 40 require a wheelchair? Geesh! I did think it was funny though :)

So there you have it, kids can be funny.

Old As Dirt or Just Alabama

So yesterday over dinner, J asked me "so was Alabama a state when you were little?" I about choked on my soup! Apparently I am over 191 years old, gee thanks for making your mom feel good about herself.  Even today I still don't think she quite gets what she said lol Thankfully I am not QUITE that old but sure does feel like it some days. 


Not much has been going on since my last post, and seeing all these other bloggers posting on a daily basis, makes me feel like a slacker. Thanks guys! :) Just kidding,  I wonder if because most of the blogs I read are from moms of small children, and well mine aren't exactly small anymore. They are entertaining to read though, because it takes me back to when mine were that small and to think I'll have another one to add to the bunch in May.  Perhaps then my blog will pick up? Hmm lack of sleep with a newborn, somehow I don't think so.

Knocked Up!

Nope I am not Pregnant! I saw that movie a few weeks ago and LOVED it! I can't say enough good things about it! It's funny, laugh out loud funny and hope you aren't the loudest person laughing! Katherine Heigl will make you love her all over again! She's so funny and brings such a light to her character in the movie!

If you watched and loved 40 yr old Virgin you must see Knocked Up! Sure it has some crude humor, drug use and uses the F word ALOT, but I guarantee you'll laugh your ass off! I saw this movie with a bunch of friends and even the more conservative ones loved the movie!
